Radian- equal to an angle at the center of a circle whose arc is equal in length to the radius.

Degrees- The amount in which something happens.

Initial Side- A stationary straight line that contains a point about which another straight line is rotated to form an angle.

terminal angle- other side that can be anywhere and defines the angle

coterminal angle- angles in standard position that have a common terminal side

reference angle- is the smallest angles between the terminal angle and the x-axis

trig ratios- relate the sides of a right triangle to its angles. they're ratios of two sides of a right triangle and a related angle

unit circle- a circle of radius. On the unit circle is the circle of radius one centered at the origin (0,0)
