Sikorsky h- 005s-1
This helicopter was used during the last year of the Korean War. It carried up to two casualties inside of the helicopter. Before , helicopters carried the casualties outside of the helicopter on stretchers , exposing them to the harsh elements. This helicopter had offset flapper hinges on the rotor which improved its control and stability. It was ideal for night flying.
