I think it was rude that her mom grabbed her ankle told Dennis to get her, that was very unforgiving.

I was shocked as well when Carely's mum grabbed her ankle and didn't help her. I think that her mum went to hospital because her dad was going for a hit at Carley and she dodged it and hit her mum.

I also think that Carley will start to like Mrs Murphy and will have to face a really hard choice to either stay with Mrs Murphy or go back to her mum. I think that this will happen towards the end and I also think that she will pick to stay with Mrs Murphy.

this book is hard to predict because of how her real mum grabs her ankle witch really confused me. It also confuses me why she tries to make her new mum crack it is very clever of the author

I reacted to dennis wanting to give carly a crack I was not surprised because they were drunk and it made me predict that carly would have done something wrong to irritate them.

The revalation to me was when her mum grabbed her leg so her step dad could hit her. My thoughts on this is a discussed feel in my stomach, it makes me sick when i hear about child abuse its like, i reacted with a bit of anger going through my veins which nearly caused me to yell But i held it in :P
