BAKING RECIPES FOR THE HEALTH CONSCIOUS
Admittedly eating while losing weight is not an easy battle. Not eating while losing weight is a much more uneasy challenge. If you’re determined to watch your diet or you want to keep yourself healthy then you should make sure to watch your food intake and consider the additives or free radicals of your food which will contribute to your health. Of course it is also best to plan all this with the proper exercise.
The usual health conscious agenda would require fruits and vegetables, from the everyday meal they prepare down to the drinks that goes with it. They would sometimes cut off meet and prefer chicken, basically lean meat. But what if you are a health conscious with a sweet tooth? Worry no more with these two baking recipes that would compliment to your health conscious lifestyle.
BANANA OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1 cup of oat flour
3/4 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats
½ teaspoon of baking powder
1/3 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of raw sugar
1/3 cup of canola oil
1/3 cup plain of soy milk
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ ripe banana, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup of chopped walnuts or other favorite nut
1/3 cup of semisweet vegan chocolate chips
How to do it:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-Combine oat flour, rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in a bowl.
-In a separate bowl, whisk oil, soy milk, and vanilla.
-Add together mixtures of the two bowls.
-Fold in chocolate chips, walnuts and banana,=
-Put parchment paper on a baking sheet.
-Scoop dough into the pan
-Bake for about 25 minutes and let it cool before serving.

CINNAMON STREUSEL CRISPS
1 / 16.5-ounce package of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup of finely chopped pecans
3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
How to do it:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Position rack into the center of the oven
-Freeze the sugar cookie dough for one hour
-Remove it from freezer after and place on cutting board
-Cut the dough into ¼ inch slices, making about 28-32 slices, arrange it two inches apart on two parchment paper lined baking sheets
-Combine cinnamon, chopped pecans, ground nutmeg and brown sugar in a bowl
-Top the cookies with ¾ teaspoon of streusel
-Bake it for 12 minutes, until the edges are crisp and brown
-Let the cookies cool on baking sheets for 3 minutes and remove to the rack
