Plate Boundaries

By: Haylee Weihrich

There are 3 types of plate boundaries: Convergent, Divergent, and Transform. One is when two plates slowly move away from each other, another one is when two plates collide, and the last one is when two plates move  slowly aginst each other.

                                                                    Divergent

When Two plates are divergent the two plates are slowly move away from each other

Example: East African Rift System

                                                                           Convergent

When two or more plates collide. They can make mountains and hills. The convergent boundary is known for it destruction and damage.

                                                                      Transform

When two or more plates are slowly moving away from each other. Type of fault whose relative motion is predominantly is horizontal.
