Anxiety Disorder

"Anxiety disorder is characterized by persistent, excessive, and unrealistic worry about everyday things" (ADAA, 2015). About 18% of the Adult U.S population is has anxiety disorder. The symptoms of anxiety disorder include "feelings of panic, fear and uneasiness, problems sleeping , shortness of breath, dry mouth, nausea, dizziness, muscle tension and heart palpitations" (WebMD, 2015).

Treating Anxiety Disorders

Treatment includes medication, and therapy. people suffer from anxiety disorder can get help from their family doctor, and mental health professional. There are many websites and and doctors that people can use for resources that tell them about their disorder.
