Ideals: Opportunity and Rights

Summary: A New York food store owner, Mufid Algeeh, was heavily involved in ISIS. Posing as a normal business owner, he actually was secretly funding ISIS. He was also actively trying to recruit Jihadists, and planned to shoot defenseless US soldiers before leaving to Syria himself. The government found out about this using informants. Algeeh attempted to recruit 2 informants, and he later revealed to them that he would shoot US soldiers. Algeeh will plea "not guilty" in his court case.

Ideals: Algeeh was trying to recruit people and fund ISIS, a foreign terrorist organization. He sent $600 to a man who he was trying to convince join ISIS. Doing this has created opportunity for ISIS to gain power and money. However, this article was also about rights. ISIS is fighting against our rights and we our fighting against theirs. The real question is "which rights are morally correct"?
