Resumes and References

At BRCTC you are preparing for your future.  You are learning skills to uniquely position yourself for your next step, whether that includes additional technical training, employment, college or the military.

A resume communicates those skills to a potential employer.

Mindset: use the resume workshop today to reflect on your skills and practice talking about your skills and assets.  Employers are impressed by employees who are on time, have a positive attitude, take responsibility for their actions, work hard, and take initiative.  Develop a resume to communicate what you have to offer, and work on your "soft skills" to get and keep a job.
