Happy St. Patrick's Day!

ASSIGNMENT 1: Continue reading Diary of Anne Frank aloud.  Parts reassigned today.  If you are absent grab page numbers to catch up on when you return. Most classes starting on page 745 ish

ASSIGNMENT 2: Vocabulary review! Quiz TOMORROW! Look at March 10-14 Tackk board if you need these words again.  tackk.com/lvs5sz  (ADVANCED class use green vocab. books)

ASSIGNMENT 3: Reading logs due Friday once again.  Grab a new log and prepare it for the week.  Show Ms. Graves what you are reading right now! Book talk time! Go to todaysmeet.com/booktalks and post what you are reading. Be ready to discuss whatever you post. (participation points so use first/last name)

*Mrs. Stone will coming in to do a short presentation about a competition going on in the library with reading, MARCH MADNESS

ASSIGNMENT #1: Students will continue reading the play DIARY OF FRANK, completing literary analysis along the way.

ASSIGNMENT #2: VOCABULARY TEST

ASSIGNMENT #3: If extra time, fill out reading logs.

ASSIGNMENT #1: Continue reading Diary of Anne Frank.  

ASSIGNMENT #2: JOURNAL PROMPT: week 28-Creative Writing

Write a teenage fairytale.  First, we'll discuss traits of a good fairytale and decide what makes a good one.  

CRITERIA:

protagonist/antagonist

plot w/at least one element of conflict (external or internal)

climax and resolution

3rd person


ASSIGNMENT #3: Go over test from Tuesday/ correct discuss commonly missed questions.

HOMEWORK: READING LOGS DUE FRIDAY! Only 2 more days until SPRING BREAK!
