Bus Topology- Is a type on network where each computer and network device is connected to a single cable. Bus networks are useful in small networks and have the advantage of using less cable.

Star Topology- Is where all components of network are connected to the central device called the hub.

Ring Topology- All of the nodes is connected to each-other in such a way that they make a closed loop. Each

Workstation is connected to two other components on either side.

I would agree with a Star Topology Network because the business would all be running from the central hub in an office building.

Star Topology

I would recommend a Star Topology because every computer or device connects to the central hub. The hub acting as a server and the peripheral devices acting as clients. The only down side to the Star Topology is that if the central hub fails all the devices connected all get disconnected.

I would suggest the use of LAN and WAN because the employees will need to communicate with each other and people all over the world. The data stored needs to be shared through LANs to employees and WANs to give data to companies or people that are hiring.

I would suggest running on a client server because the company computers can connect to each other through the network.

The company will have user logins for the employees to keep their work secure and the systems secure, this will also give them limited access to what they can do on the computer. You will have shared peripheral devices in the company such as printers and scanners so it's more efficient and saves money. All of the data you save to the company server can be accessed on any computer but only with you're login. The data saved will be backed up every 10 or 30 minutes. The system will be security checked on a regular basis and will be watched for any malicious malware trying to enter.

How this network can be used by the recruitment company

It helps because all the data is stored on the central server and backed up on that as well. Everyone has their own log on so no work that belongs to someone else can be accessed my someone else unless you want it to be.

Legal Requirements of a Software Liciense.

You will need to buy a software licence so you can distribute software in your company/organization legally and if thing go wrong the licence will cover you.

The maximum penalty if you don't have software license and get caught is $150,000 per licence. Typically, this is negotiated down, and a company found deficient at around $8,000 will pay a penalty of around $85,000. They will also have to buy the $8,000 in software too.

Features and Services that can be provided by both local and wider area networks

LAN-

Everyone is connected to each other

When a new version comes out it only has to be loaded on to one workstation

You can buy a software license which will save you money

Files can be accessed from any computer in the same LAN

Files can be shared instantly with people on the same network

WAN-

Share files over a large area

Shares software and recourse with connecting networks

You can connect all the PC’s to one peripheral device such as a printer

Covers a large area so a Large business could all communicate through one server

Everyone on the same network can all access the same data

Network Connectivity

Electrical Interface- The electrical interface can occur between  non-shielded cables and electric devices. Noise and electrical disruptions caused by cables and devices sometimes interfere with each other they could cause a disruption in network service. You should try moving your router to another location to see if it improves and separate the cables.

Unplugged Cables- Before you start making any adjustments to your set up make sure all the cables are plugged in, in tact and fully working. Once you have done that it is very important to check the connections to an d from your system, router also the modem. Make sure all the connections are well placed and the indicator lights are working. If you have a suspicion that one of your cables is faulty, you must replace it with the exact same cable and retest to see if it works.

Improperly Configured Settings- When you first set up a router, there will be a number of settings and controls that you will need to configure in order for your network to run smoothly. You could still experience network issues if you have an outside programme which has altered the settings. If you feel like it is not running smoothly you should locate your router's configuration page, and verify that all of your settings are set to the recommended options for your networks. If your unsure of the correct settings, you should contact your manufacturer.

Conflicting Applications- Most of self-installed applications use a hint of network bandwidth in order to operate and transfer information over the network to other people on the same network. Most of the applications we use are heavy and use a lot of bandwidth, which slows down the network at a rate you will notice. Applications could also clash with each other and cause network issues. You should check the network manager to ensure that no applications are using all of your system resources. You should also close the ones that are using the most.

Server Lag- This can occur when too many people are on the same network and all interacting on it. This can be resolved by resetting the server.

Benefits and Implications of installing Software.

Benefits-

It would let you do something you could not do before.

Easier interaction with the system

Might make whatever you are doing quicker, improve productivity.

Implications-

Some of the computers might not meet the system requirements, so some of the software might not get installed. If this happens you will need to upgrade your hardware to a later version then retry to install the software, this could cost more money.

Some software may be too large for your hard drive so you might need to upgrade it.

Could be downloading Malware or Bugs

Possible benefits of network registration

You can use all of the resources on the network, such as printers, software, files and folder.

You can access your work from anywhere using a remote desktop.

Get access to all new updates.
