A spreadsheet is an arrangement of cells in columns and rows used to organize, analyze, calculate, and report information, usually in numerical form.
Spreadsheets are made up of Rows, Colums, and Cells. The word cell is Old English and it means basically, "little boxes."
As I said before spreadsheets are made up of rows. Rows are the sections in a spreadsheet that go from the left to the right, or horizontally. Such as, a row in a garden
In the previous slides, I mentioned the word columns. A column is a list of items that are aligned vertically, or up and down.
A cell address is where the cell is located on the spreadsheet. Such as the one below.
A workbook is a file that contains multiple spreadsheets.
