Biochemical engineering is a branch of chemical engineering, biomedical engineering and pharmaceutical engineering. Biochemical engineers work on many different things to make our lives easier. From fertilizers for different crops, to medicines for when you have a sickness, these engineers are one of the only engineers that make sure organisms are always getting the support they need in order to live. This engineer in specific interests me because when I grow up, I would like be a pediatrician and work with people in this field. Also because they solve these simple problems that can have a huge impact upon our lives, yet we don't even think about how important they're work really is. For example, when you have a cough, or cold, and you need antibiotics, what do you do? You go to the doctor because it's simply where you get all your prescribed medicine from. All in all, it's the simple things these engineers do in order to make our lives so much easier.
