College and Career
5th period English I
University of Southern California
The main reason why I want to go to University of Southern California is because it was one of the only colleges I have visited with my Tia that I actually really liked. It was a beautiful place and she always wanted me to go to that college no matter what happens because she knew that it would've been the best option for me. I've been to a lot of colleges in California and I loved USC and they have an amazing medical program that my Tia did too and she wanted me to do that too.
University of Southern California started all in 1880 and it only had about 53 students. Even if it wasn't even fully constructed it put more and more people lining up at the door. It's very known for its arts and medical program because of it's amazing rooms for those courses. And now in 2015, they have hundreds of thousands of people that attend the school.
USC has no cutoff for grades, class rank, or test scores. They just look at each applicants records individually to rank them on how good their records are to be in their school. Although, most first year students are admitted when they are the top 10% of their high school class.
USC has the most dynamic and talented student population. It has more than 750 clubs and organizations. USC provides all types of things to do based on certain categories like arts & culture to cultural organizations and many more. Each student can be able to find their niche while attending this school because of the freedom and fun you have here.
My Career Path-
Being a pharmacist-
Being a pharmacist they count out medicines and package them. They supervise that medicines are dispensed correctly. They also give information on what medicines a customer wants. Doing all of this and just this a pharmacist can make between 79,000 to 134,000 and the median would be about 104,000. Thus all depends on where they work whether its in store pharmacies to hospitals. They have a huge responsibility and they can earn around $50 an hour.

To whom it may concern:
I am responding to the employment opportunity listed on starbucks.com. Please accept this letter and accompanying resume as evidence of my interest in applying to be a barista. I feel that since I’ve worked in little jobs during the summer to make drinks to sell that I am capable enough to be a barista in your organization. I am looking for an honored job that will add experience to my future in being a pharmacist. How does making drinks relate to being a pharmacist? Well I have to learn orders and put together a prescription which is similar to a barista because both have to put together something that will make the customer feel better. One of my career strengths that would improve your organization would be that I’m a self-starter. I can be told one thing and I wouldn’t wait forever to get it done. If I get an order I’m not going to take forever to give the customer what they are paying for. I would make it and serve it quick.
I would appreciate your consideration of my credentials, and I welcome the chance to meet with you to hear more about your company, the requirements of the position, and how my skills would be a good fit.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
My goal is to become more of a people person and a more reliable person that people can count on when I get a job.

Skills & Abilities
My career path has been one of the most difficult things trying to figure out. I first wanted to be a nurse, then a physical therapist, and then a psychologist. But I just figured out what I really wanted to be which is a pharmacist. I want to be a pharmacist because I used to have someone really close to me in my family and he always wanted to be a pharmacist, but he was never able to do that so I wanted to finish that off for him.
But all together I've always had a thing to where I wanted to be in cosmetology. So as I'm going through college I'm going to study cosmetology, and when I graduate I'm going to major in pharmacy.
