Brighton Beach Memoirs

Great Depression

The Great Depression was an economic uncertainty/failure/depression in the 1930's. It was caused by the "1929 Crash of The Stock Market" which caused a major decline in product prices, and dramatic drops in demand and credit. There was also widespread unemployment; subsequently, leading to poverty. This caused major depression hence the name : "The Great Depression". What saved America from the Great Depression was WWII.

Colleges in the 1930's

I'd expect Huegene to end up going to the New York University. The college tuition in the 1930's was only $400! From 1930 - 1939 the tuition still only raised to $500. The rest of the expenses, such as rooms and books, were over $855! The only big difference from now and then is that the colleges were more interested in men than women. The current mascot for NYU is a bobcat.

Stan's Apology Letter

Dear Mr.Stroheim,

Id like to apologize for the unacceptable actions that took place yesterday. When i was younger my father taught me about principles. He always use to say "Do what you  believe is right," and Mr.Stroheim, i believe what i was trying to prevent was correct. I just happened to show it in a very incorrect way.

Mr.Stroheim, I know you wont forget what happened yesterday, but please forgive me. All i ask is for you is to give me one more chance. I know its a lot to ask from you, but i swear on my mothers life that i will continue to work twice as hard as i did before.

I should have known better Mr.Stroheim. Such a good looking and intelligent man as you shouldn't have dust swept on their shoes. Please, please, please accept my gracious apology. I am asking a lot from you, i know, but i need this. Its the only thing i have left. Thank you for your time Mr.Stroheim.

                                                                                    Respectfully,

                                                                                                   Stanley Jerome

The lion King is a winner of over 70 global theatrical awards and has been seen by more than 54 million people in 14 different countries. There are several languages spoken in the Broadway show including many African languages. About 1100 people are currently casted in the Broadway show. The admission ticket is very pricey, ranging from $200 to $400; however, i promise it will be worth it. It was first launched in 2002, and since then it has been one of the greatest Broadway shows in history.

Brighton Beach Review

The play Brighton Beach Memoirs, by Neil Simon, is by far one of the greatest things you can experience. The cruel and uncalled for humor makes it so much better. Not only the that, but sentimental value it has gets you attached after the first two pages. The nostalgia it gives you can really affect your personal.
