The Staff and Students of Hutchison Beach Elementary Cordially invite you to attend
PARENT LEADERSHIP DAY
7:30 a.m.—9:15 a.m.
We welcome you to visit and learn about our second language, a language our staff and students are integrating into their culture. Through Stephen Covey’s “8 Habits”, we are empowering our students to develop leadership in and out of the classroom. We look forward to having you as our guest!

The last day of school will be Wednesday June 1st.
Early Dismissal will occur at 11:30am
REPORT CARDS will be available June 8th at in the Front Office
First Day of School for the 2016 - 2017 School Year is Thursday August 18th
They will are on sale now . They will be arriving shortly with a book signing for those that pre-order the books. They are $20 and there is also a limited number of copies. They will be in full color. You can order them through the school website.
School Start Time
Just a reminder that the First Bell will ring at 7:25am.
The tardy bell will ring at 7:30am.
The doors on the Car Pick up line will open at 7:05am.
Please use the car pick up line or an appropriate parking spot near the school to drop off students. Crossing Beth Ave with traffic can be dangerous and we would not want to see any unfortunate accident occur.
One of our goals is to involve parents and families in our school in every possible way. We send out periodic voice messages using the IRIS system and will also start sending email reminders and newsletters like this one. It is critical that the contact information in the FOCUS system, also known as Parent Portal is up to date so we can get in touch with you. If you know of someone who did not receive this email, please pass this message along. The link to parent portal is found below. Please remember the dress code. Students may wear solid blue, white, or orange shirts. Beach "spirit" shirts come in a variety of colors and can be worn any day. Bottoms must be solid khaki, navyblack. Blue jeans with no holes or embellishments are permitted as well. Please remember that the length of skirts and shorts must be in compliance with Bay District Policy. The hem of the shorts and/or skirts can fall no more than 5" above the knee. Parents will be notified if their child is found to be in violation of the dress code. Repeated violations will result in disciplinary action.
Box Tops for Education
We collect Box Tops for Education at Beach Elementary and the proceeds from them support our AR Program. The money we have received so far has supported our first Off Campus Field Trip to the Movies. Additional funds allows us to do multiple events for our outstanding Readers.
