SCHOOLS IN KENYA
School's in Kenya have students that are hungry to learn but not just to learn. These kids are in poverty and food for them is scarce. Also they struggle to get to schools because of their parents deaths caused by aids.Kenya has schools that are broken down and destroyed , but these kids do what ever they can to learn.
With the help of people, students in Kenya get food, an education, and a smile from the people that care about them.It feels good to know that theirs people that care for them."Through the Teacher Performance and Integrity in Kenya Programme we support the Teachers Service Commission to address concerns about teachers in Kenyan schools, particularly chronic absenteeism, discipline and performance appraisal."
The project team works to raise awareness of, and encourage compliance with, the Teachers Service Commission’s Code of Regulations and Ethics by supporting revisions to the code, distribution of the code to schools and evaluation of the use and impact of the code on disciplinary cases.
PROGRAMS FOR DISABLED STUDENTS
Poverty in Kenya causes innocent kids to lose their education. But schools still accept the poor and disabled kids to apply for programs. These programs include sports, after school programs like art, simple math, and natural science.
Along with terrorist attacks in Kenya shutting down schools and making kids lose part of there education.But in Garissa University College, NAIROBI, Kenya did not only lose their education — One of four Islamic militants who killed 148 people in Apr 15,2015.University .
