Polonium is a very interesting, radioactive element. It was discovered in 1898 by Marie Curie, while she was analyzing pitchblende. Polonium was named after Marie Curies's homeland, Poland. Polonium was very important in building the Manhattan Project. Fun Fact: Polonium has more isotopes than any other element, and it can be found in tobacco.
