Black Veil Brides Are Our Saviors
By Jinx Hunter
Black Veil Brides have created music that has helped millions of people around the world, including myself. On behalf of everyone who found refuge from their songs, allow me to be the one to thank you for all that you have done and we all hope you continue your amazing work. BVB FOR LIFE!!!
I first found Black Veil Brides back in 2010, and instantly fell in love with their music. The songs that started me off were "Knives and Pens," "Fallen Angels," and "Legacy." Soon I started listening to their most heart felt songs such as "Carolyn" and "Savior." That's when I knew that this was the band for me. At the time I was battling depression, and their songs comforted me throughout all the times when I felt alone or broken. Their music truly has power and I know I'm not the only one who they have inspired and helped people who've felt or feeling the same way I did.
If you were able to meet anyone from Black Veil Brides, what would you do? For me, I'll be honest, I will cry at the sight of them, and thank them for what they do. I can never be more grateful for finding them when I did. They saved my life, and for that I would cry as I hug each of them.
Another reason why I love their music so much is because, most people expect people to be a certain way. Am I wrong? Black Veil Brides made me realize that it's ok to dress and act like a rock star when your in a place of girly-girls and jocks, that being different is a good thing. Being you is a good thing. That's another reason why I love this band so much. They give me the courage to express myself, what I like, who I want to be, and not take peoples criticism about it being stupid, ugly, disturbing, or anything negative like that. People are going to judge you no matter what you do, and all you can do is be yourself. That, my friends, is only the beginning of what Black Veil Brides is about.
Now for all the readers out there, I'm curious...Would you like to share what Black Veil Brides has done for you in your life? Tell me what got you started on them and what you thought about them at first.
