“You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world...but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices.”

“Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.”

“The world is not a wish-granting factory.”

Foreshadowing

I believe there is some talk about Augustus and Hazel visiting Netherlands.

Connections

This book reminds me of one of the movies I watched where there were two teenagers with disabilities that slowly begin to fall in love. One of my neighbors had brain cancer she was a pretty sweet and nice person but she ended up losing her battle to cancer. My aunt also had cancer but she ended up winning her battle to cancer and is now cancer free.
