Drug abuse: Misusing a legal drug on purpose or using any illegal drug. when a person becomes use to a higher dosage and craves more of the drug when he or she takes the correct dosage.
Withdrawal: Is the negative symptoms that result when a drug dependent person stops taking a drug, there for the person needs the drug in order to function properly.
Addiction: Is the uncontrollable use of a drug.
"When a person is addicted to something they cannot control how they use it, and become dependent on it to cope with daily life."
Physical dependency: A state in which the body chemically needs a drug in order to function normally. A person with physical withdraw may experience vomiting, muscle and joint pain, fever, chills, and many other symptoms.
Psychological Dependency: A persons emotional or mental need for a drug. Symptoms for psychological dependency are sleeplessness, nervousness, irritability, and depression.
