life isn't easy, its what you make it that counts

In this poem, Mother to son by: Langston Hughes, There was a woman having a talk with her son

She started out saying life has not been a crystal stair

It had tacks, splinters, and boards torn up

Iv'e been climbing, and reaching lands, and turning corners.

and sometimes Iv'e been goin in the dark where there is no light

Dont you set down on the steps, dont fall now, Im still going honey, I'm still climbing
