According to Ayurveda the transition into Fall can aggravate Vata – our air element. Autumn itself is a Vata season characterized by dry, windy, and cool weather. The best way to counteract this tendency is through yogic and ayurvedic practices that are grounding and nourishing. Restoring our connection to the earth and to ourselves at a deeper level will balance Vata and keep us from feeling frazzled. It is an ideal time to harness the powerful energy of change to make our daily routine one that will enhance our health and overall well-being.
Join Linda Lindaman, certified Yoga instructor, and Kim Williams, Ayurvedic practitioner, for a transformative workshop combining the powerful benefits of yoga with the wisdom of Ayurveda.
Linda will take us through a Vata balancing practice that will utilize the powerful energy of Vata for a dynamic yet stabilizing routine.
Kim will give us guidance on how to stay healthy throughout the fall season with dietary recommendations and self-care practices to keep Vata in balance.
A light refreshment will be offered after the workshop. Please arrive 15 minutes early to settle in comfortably.
