In session 1 we learned how a radio station operates, were introduced to various radio program formats, and learned how to use a digital audio editing software program.
In session 2 we Learned how the role advertising plays in radio, Used digital audio editing software to record and apply effects to a commercial that was already written, and wrote and recorded a commercial of our own.
In session 3 we learned how to write our own news stories and a commentary and an introduction to our newscast. We also learned a little bit more about audio broadcasting commercials and stories.
In Session 4 I Created a introduction to my newscast, then I watched how to record three different news stories. After that I watched how to record a commentary.
In Session 5 we watched how and created our music lead ins and our music lead outs for our news and commentary broadcast.
In session 6 we finished our music lead in and lead outs, then we started to make some music files for our broadcast.
In Session 7 I assembled the media files from last session and made it into one final broadcast. I then watched how to burn it to a CD. (Which I didn't burn to CD.)
Some of the careers that you could be in for audio broadcasting could be like a news reporter, a radio station dude, or a news editor. There are lots of jobs that you could do to be in audio broadcasting.
