-Earliest Hominids First Appeared in Africa. The Human evolution was a process of change from apelike ancestors. They evolved over a period of six million years ago. They gained the ability to walk on two legs over 4 million years ago.

-The birch-bark Containers; form of a cylinder pot. Neanderthals use birch-back containers to boil food. They boiled to soften food or render fat from bones; one of the advantages for homo sapiens to thrive while Neanderthals died out. They boiled in birch-bark twisted into trays, a technology that prehistoric people used to boil maple syrup from tree sap.
