College and Career
7th Period English I
UCLA was founded in 1919 and is one of the highest ranking schools for their academics, research, and community impact. I want to go to UCLA because it has one of the best arts programs in western US with more than 1,000 visual and performing arts center. not only does UCLA have a good performing arts center but it has a good athletics center. UCLA has won 112 NCAA team championships and more than any other school NCAA division I.
I have chosen to go to UCLA because UCLA is one of the best schools in the US. UCLA might be known for parties but it also has a good music program. I chose UCLA because it has a high success rate after graduation. UCLA took my attention when I found out that UCLA has had more than 5 of its alumni to win noble prizes. Many others have become successful after graduating from UCLA.

I chose to study music because music is my passion. music makes me happy and music relieves my stress. in my opinion music is a great stress reliever and I would love to produce music everyone could listen to. I would love to go to UCLA to gain more knowledge about creating music.
making a living out of making music would be a dream come true. making music is one of the coolest things to do in my opinion. one learns how its made and the different types of music an instrument can make. one can learn a lot from music and can also be relieved of stress. music calms one down and even studies show that people who are sick or have down syndrome etc. have became more peaceful when hearing music. making music would make me happy because I would feel like I had accomplished something because it helps others in many different ways.
A music producer can make from 22K to 100K per year. As a rookie a music producer can be paid up to $10.47 PER HOUR. As a pro one can earn up to $27.02 per hour. A recording engineer needs knowledge of all necessary technical equipment, needs to understand the clients needs, and most importantly one needs the ear to bring it all together. One needs a 4 year college or University degree to become a recording artist.
