Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is influence on a peer group, observers or individual exerts that encourages others to change their attitudes, values, or behaviors to conform to groups.

This is saying that when kids/teens see there friends doing these things they are more likely to do them too because they want to be cool and have friends. But what they don't understand is that true friends will like them no matter what they do.

How to Help

To help somebody not fall under peer pressure you can help them by doing some of these things. You should do these things no matter what to help boost there confidence.


On this chart peer pressure is the biggest factor for trying illegal drugs. Peer pressure can lead to very serious things from trying illegal drugs to suicide.

This quote shows that so many girls fall under peer pressure they dislike there body. They dislike them selfs because they do not look like "perfection." They make them self not eat and even throw up.
