Rosa Parks was significant because she made a huge impact in civil rights. She was told to give up her seat for a white man, but she refused. She stood her ground and said "Why do people have to be treated unfairly just because they're black?" The police replied, "That's just the rules ma'am.", while arresting her. She went to jail, and still stood her ground. She attended an All Negros College for African Americans. Rosa felt discriminated and she was tired of it. She risked her life for rights to be treated fairly, she is so brave.
I choose Rosa Parks for this project because she is so brave. She is brave to me because she surely took a risk on her life so that she could have rights and be treated just as all whites were. She said no and made a change in history. She made a change by showing that she does care and she will not be treated worthless. She will be treated right because everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
