There are 6 design principles

There are six designs for desktop publishing. Contrast is when you want to grab the readers attention at the beginning of a story. Repetition is a document that should look similar to the entire brochure. Alignment creates a visual connection, there are four types which are left, right, center, and block. Proximity are items that should be grouped close together. Font families have serif, sans serif, and fun. Balance is how elements are distributed on a page.
