Interior Designers plan and design spaces and furnish interiors of homes, business offices, clients and many more spaces.

Along with designing and furnishing they also plan additions and remodles to buildings.

Interior Designers need to be able to express and explain their thoughts and ideas in a way that everyone can see their vision clearly. They also need to be able to communicate with others and understand their wants and need. With that they need to always be creative and original with their designs.

Career Working Conditions

Interior Designers work condition has a medium level of social contact. They are always working under a time deadline with all their projects. They also have to be very exact on their projects. At most companies there is more then on interior designer in the building so they have to be able to share a work space with other people. Interior Designers have to be comfortable with making be decision that involve the financials of the project. With this job your mostly going to be working inside with full time hours.

If interior designers are working for a company they are most likely paid by the hours. If they are self-employed they are more likely to be paid by the client for each job they do.
