New England Puritans

The Puritans were a group of people who valued their beliefs in religion above all else, that's why they left the Church of England. They agreed to work together and get along so their city can be like a ''city on a hill'' or the best and most prosperous city. The Salem Witch Trials shows how the Puritans greatly feared anything that went against their idea of god, even if their reasoning was highly unreasonable and harsh.
