Chattahoochee River

The Chattoochee River flows 436 miles from the mountains of North Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico .

The Chattoochee River is a river of painted rock .

The Chattoochee River is major warter source in supplying water to Atlanta and Columbus but also Helen , Buford , Lagrange , and West Point .

The south of the fall line is used for trade and boat travel . North of the Fall Line the river is used to generate hydrolectric power and is used for trade and  boat travel .
