Incomplete Dominance

-one allele is not completely dominant over another
-the heterozygous phenotype is a blending of two homozygous phenotype
-results in a third phenotype
-the offspring will be phenotypically and genotypically different than both of the parents
-it is similar to codominance except a new phenotype is expressed unlike codominance


Andalusian Fowl

-known as the "speckled chicken"
-its a type of chicken
-it weighs around 5.5-7lbs
-its species is threatened
-Mendel used this breed to experiment color heredity
