What did they do for fun?
The leisure activities went from reading,to visiting seaside, and to playing outdoor games.
Books- one of the most famous Victoria children books was "Alice's Adventure in Wonderland." By Lewis Carroll, in 1865.
Clubs- pining clubs were popular among gentlemen.
Easter- A popular game played. It was called "Egg-shackling".
Music- It was common to hear the sound of a Brass Band.
Outdoors games- wealthy children played in their nurseries and the other unwealthy children had played in the streets and fields.
