The telephone is important because you can make long distance calls. The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1875. It provided various benefits to the people.

The light bulb was important because you can work with the light from the light bulb. This was invented by Thomas Edison in 1879. Light bulbs are also a reliable source of light.
Seismograph - 1880
It is important because it can monitor movement of the ground before an earthquake occurs. This was invented by John Milne in 1880. It also records elastic ground vibrations called seismic waves.
Diesel Engine - 1892
The diesel engine was important because it was a replacement for stationary steam engines. This was invented by Rudolf Diesel in 1892. It also is used in locomotives, trucks, heavy equipment, and electric generating plants.

This was important because it allows us to record things and let us watch it over and over again. This was invented by Louis & Auguste Lumiere in 1895. They did their first private screening in 1895.

This was important because it was a major tool used to make many of the new inventions and it contributed to the making of railroads. This was invented by J.p. Morgan in 1901. It also is one of the most widely used of metallic materials.

This was important because it was the first time anyone had stored music or words onto anything. This paved the way for cds and dvds. This was invented by Thomas Edison in 1877. It was the first time that sound could be recorded and played back.
Typewriter - 1873
This was important because they helped people be able to write things much faster. This was invented by Christopher Sholes in 1873. The typewriter indeed revolutionized business.

This is important because you can get a long distance in a short amount of time. This was invented by Charles & Frank Duryea in 1893. The automobile drastically changed the lives of Americans for the better.
First Airplane - 1903
The invention of airplanes was impotant because it could travel farther and faster and it became a new level of fighting in war. This was invented by Wilbur & Orville Wright in 1903. It led to the rest of the airplanes created today and the helicopters.
