Why use it?
Students approach learning in many different ways. In an English classroom Tackk could serve as a base for many different things. It would be a great place to incorporate text, videos, photos, and music, allowing for such things as understanding of media texts and reading for meaning.
Depending on what you do with Tackk you can address all learning styles. The use of graphics, video or text connects with the spatial, linguistic and auditory-musical learning style. During a novel study Tackk would be a great place to put up information that the students can view to gain deeper insight into such things as theme, characterization, and motifs.
For example, the video below could be used as an introductory video to the novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as it pertains to a theme that is very prevalent in the novel.
