The Coastal Plains
The Coastal Plain is in the southern region of Georgia. This region is the largest and it takes up 3/5 of Georgia. The Fall line separates the Piedmont region form the Coastal Plains. The barrier islands protect the Coastal plains from weather, and military invasions.
Farming is the heartland in the Coastal Plains, consisting of peanuts, cotton, and vidia onions. The climate is super good, so the farming season last longer.
Savannah is one of the many tourist attractions in Georgia. It was also the first city in Georgia which was founded in 1733. Savannah river is also used for shipping and seafood.
