Ancient Chinese Clothes

  1.      Did you know that most Chinese people wore robes or tunics ( like long tee shirts ). In the earliest dynasty, the Shang dynasty the people in china wore Hanfu's. That is a shirt that goes down to your knees and also has a sash, cuffs, and a knee length skirt. Most ancient Chinese clothing was uni-sex. In the Zhou dynasty they displayed their clothes by the rank. If you had a high rank you would wear jade ornaments and fancy clothes . But the lower ranks had to wear tunics.
