Day3 (Sunday 5/4)
Voyage to the South: Surf, Sun, Sand... Shopping
"We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us"
I woke up to the sweet sound of the ocean mixed with the cluttered voices of chatter originating from the back porch making its way into my serene sleep. Quickly, I migrated to the kitchen to get coffee and breakfast, which was consumed in the close presence of the roaring ocean's crashing waves. After a while of the waters temptation eating me alive, at about 9:30 in the morning, we all take a morning swim. Cold at first, the salty sea water wakes me up entirely. Next, the girls of the group decide its time for some retail therapy while the guys do guy stuff (i.e., fish, drink, crack jokes). After satisfyingly buying more than any of us need, along with souvenirs for people back home, just to rub it in their faces more that "we went to Myrtle Beach!!", and spending way too much money, we head home for lunch and even more beach time. We have had a long and successful day filled with laughter, beach, and good friends.
