Quote:

Extremely poor people would not be ideal donors in any case because "low socioeconomic status around the world is an independent risk factor for kidney disease

My Ideas:

Even though many people can benefit from thje incentives offered to gain more donors, the donee's need to be careful where they recieve their donationd because they dont want to suffer more than they already have, especially concerning their health.

Quote:

As the crisis in the supply of organs worsens, some transplant surgeons are calling for a radical effort to increase donations by offering substantial financial rewards in exchange for organs.

My Ideas:

Doctors are trying to do their best to save the lives of all these patients on the borderline of death by offering incentives to donors and be able to recruit more. As you can see, this isn't really affecting anyone, on the other hand, it is really going to help all of the patients on the waiting list for organ donations.

Quote:

Live organ donations produce better results, including fewer complications and higher life expectancies, than cadaveric donations or hemodialysis.

My Ideas:

This quote shows you that for every person in need of an organ, there should be at least one person donating an organ in order to keep up with the numbers, and organ expectancies low.

Quote:

Over 100,000 Americans have kidney or liver disease and need an organ transplant to survive. Nevertheless, the fact is that there are not enough donated organs to meet the high demand.

My Ideas:

There is a high number of patients out there in need of some organ to be able to survive, but can't recieve it because people are not willing to go out there themselves and donate for humane reasons.
