The Allies and A
The Allied powers consisted of the U.S., Britain, France, USSR, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, and Yugoslavia.
The small but powerful axis had Germany, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.
The war lasted 5 to 6 years. With the small Axis forces, you would think that allies would have an easy war, but they didn't.
The death toll is very high for the allies especially. The countries that don't have a big death toll, are the countries that joined the war the last year or maybe two. Like the U.S and Lithuania and Greece.
Germany and Hitler invaded a country, and started a war between many countries. Some countries had no reason for fighting, but they did because they were allies and axis.
