Question 3: do you think it is best to protect ill-placed homes or preserve the beach for future generations ? why?
Foreshore- part of a shore between high- and low-water marks
Spring Tide- a tide just after a new or full moon, when there is the greatest difference between high and low water.
Lagoon- a stretch of salt water separated from the sea by a low sandbank or coral reef.
Surf- the mass or line of foam formed by waves breaking on a seashore or reef
Back shore-area of a beach extending from the limit of high water foam lines to dunes
