Week of February 2, 2015

Here is a quick look at the week ahead:

Monday, February 2nd: Groundhog Day - Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow or won't he??

Tuesday, February 3rd: 5th grade will have scoliosis screenings today. Nurse Mary will be using the 5th grade girls' bathroom.  Please have your students use a different bathroom and only send emergencies to the health room in the morning until screenings are complete.

Wednesday, February 4th: Traci and I will be off campus in the afternoon at a professional development session.

Thursday, February 5th: 100th day of school! 9:00 - PTA Board Meeting. Jerram Froese from technology will be on campus walking classrooms from 12:30-1:30. He is gathering data on how we are using the technology (iPads, Chromebooks, MacBooks) we have been given through 1:X, as well as the additional technology we received this year at the lower grades. Please note the timeframe he will be on campus and see if you can coordinate your technology use accordingly. 3:15 - Online Readers for Elementary will be presented by the fabulous Whitney Jones in the library. Please be sure you register in Eduphoria. 3:15 - Village Council will also be meeting this afternoon. If you wrap up in time, you can join us in the library.

Friday, February 6th: The McKamy Band will be visiting at 11:30 and performing for 4th and 5th grade in the gym. Kindergarten will have their Critter Parade beginning at 2:00.
