The Aztecs were a Mesoamerican Indian Tribe
The aztec were nomadic people. Nahuatl was their dominant language. They formed a three-way alliance with the Texocans and the Tacubans. The top of the system are the nobles, and the bottom of it were the serfs/slaves.
Their origin is uncertain. They appear in the Mesoamerica. They had temples, plazas, palaces, statues for their gods like Huitzilopochtili(god of war and of the sun), Quetzacoatl(“Feathered Serpent”), Toltec god who served many important roles in the Aztec faith over the years.
The Aztecs farmed corn(maize), beans, squashes,potatoes, tomatoes, avocados, & they also fished &hunted for rabbits, armadillos, snakes, coyotes, & wild turkey.
They used irrigation methods for their crops. Their waepons were less effective than the spaniard ones.
The aztecs established where a eagle sat on a cactus that was on marshy land near the lake Texococo. Most of their houses were made out of adobe and used straw as a roof.
