Germany's population is 80.62 million people. Their growth is .2% annual change.  Their life expectancy is 80 years of age. Males average age is 42 years, females is 45 years, and both females and males is 43 years of age.

Berlin (capital of Germany)

Berlin is both the capital of Germany and the biggest city in Germany. After reuniting in the 1990`s it became the most cosmopolitan and exciting city in Germany.


Munich, the capital of Bavaria and one of the most beautiful and green cities in Germany. Beer in Germany is very common and they hold a annual fest called the Oktoberfest that attracts 6 million visitors per year.


Frankfurt is the major center for Europe and Germany's stock exchange and European's bank. The city is the financial center of the country, with explains the skyscrapers. It host a lot of important, international, events like a Book Fair they hold in October.

Germany's history

Germany can be traced back to 500,000 years ago when the Germanic tribes first settled in Germany until the time of the Roman Empire. Germany first came into existence as an independent nation in January 18, 1871. Germany later became one of the most blamed country of the cause of WWI. The anger that Germany had because of how they felt treated unfairly and the debts they were left one then led to WWII. They where the ones who blamed mainly the Jews for what had happen. The Germans had a Communist party where they made the decision of getting rid of all the Jews and anything that was not like them. Germany and a few other countries lost the war and have left us scared with the Holocaust.  

Environment and landscape

Germany has a very temperate climate, extremely high temperatures in the summer, and frost in the winter are very rare. This conditions well-distributed make a good amount of rain fell. Offering a good opportunity of raising crops. Hot in the summer and wet and cold during the winter.  Although there is some Mediterranean vegetation in southern Germany such as figs and lemons, most of the vegetation needs to be cold resistant. Silver birch, for instance, grows best when it receives plenty of water and cool temperatures.
