Ruby Chen is currently first year Instructional Technology master degree student in New York Institute of Technology. During her first year in studying, she applies instructional technology for international student management and global faculty hiring that standardize procedures and save totally 50% of the staff effort.
Ruby Chen has over 6 years international educational experience in joint-venture programs in international students and faculty management, organizational immigrant policy advising and document issuing, event planning and project management. She is proficient at cross-culture instructional training. She has mastered international training experience including academic advising, administrative management, project orientation and management.
Ruby Chen is fluent in both English and Chinese with average Japanese. She master multiple instructional technology tools such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, word press, Office 2013 with good presentation skills.
Our clients is Silver Key, an educational company who recruits Chinese students to study programs overseas and foreign students to China. The company locates in NY midtown in U.S. It also has a chain in Shanghai, China. There are 10 learners in the team: 5 Chinese and 5 Americans. 2 of them have been working in the field from 6 months to 1 year. Others are new staff but have relevant background in overseas.
Silver Key runs everyday work with PCs. All their employees have Android phones provided by the company. The desktop provided by the company requires technical pass in any application/ software installation. Key Silver wants the 30 staff to be trained with social media tools in marketing promotions, project management, and customer management.

After the training, learners are able to
1. identify 5 different social media tools from each other
2. create their own accounts
2. spend 30 mins at most to create a relevant visual presentation independantly
3. accomplish the assigned task of using every social media tools
4. list at least 3 features of every social media tools
5. give 2 examples of how to apply each social media tools in their jobs

Piktochart is a very simple social media tool to create info-chart. It is free and easy to start with. Many icons and photos are available to make the photo more exciting. You can also add chart or map to make the photo more diverse.
Canva is a free graphic design website. It allows users to create design of social media, presentation, poster, facebook cover, facebook post, instagram, etc. It is great for small business who has low budget still want to create nice photos and posters.
Powtoon is a website tool which helps to create animation videos. It is very easy for learner to handle without requiring any animation background. Everything is drag and drop. The result is very impressive. You can make interesting presentation to get people's attention and the animation makes it is easier to explain your business.
Infogr.am is the data visualization product that brings out the best in your data. The infographics and charts are quick to use, fast to share, and easy on the eye. It makes data analysis simple, visual, lively and fun.
LikeAlyzer provides user with recommendations and feedback on your presence on Facebook. The recommendations are customized for your Facebook Page and the analysis is based on the metrics that we have found to be important - presence, dialogue, action and information.
