Miami Heat has a lot of players but I will only talk about three. Their names are LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. In this year of 2012, my family and I went to their first pre-season game. Dwyane Wade got chosen as the game MVP (most valuable player). He also had 4/4 on free throws and many break always. The team they vs. was the Washington Wizards and they won 104-94.
When the Miami Heat plays out of town they wear white, but when they play in Miami they wear black. LeBron says,
“We look better in black especially with my sweatband.”
When LeBron was little he was called “colored” and had a hard life. He didn’t care what people thought or said about him but it was hard to make friends. When his mother (Gloria) was in high school she had LeBron. She lived in an apartment with LeBron but they couldn’t pay the bills, so they moved in with Gloria’s mom Freda. Gloria started dating a boy named Eddie and soon enough Eddie was living with them. Eddie was willing to care for LeBron and play with him.
When LeBron was three Gloria and Eddie bought a basketball and a goal to shoot on. They lowered it as low as it could go and LeBron was dunking on it.
Unfortunately, on Christmas Eve Freda went downstairs to get a drink of water and then she collapsed. Eddie heard a fall and came running for Freda to make sure she was okay. Eddie told Gloria to call 911 but it was too late and Freda died.
They all had to separate and Eddie broke up with Gloria and moved in with his aunt, Terry and Curt went together to a foster home while Gloria and LeBron moved in with Elizabeth Park.
When Dwyane was little his father coached a youth basketball group. Dwyane was too young to play so he got to play the next season. In that year his parents (Dwyane Sr. and Jolinda) had a divorce and his sister (Tragil and Dwyane) had less time to spend together but they still had a bond. When Dwyane was in high school he also played football and people said,
“He shows more talent on the football field.”
He was still an amazing basketball player but he showed more talent on the football field. The truth was he picked basketball because he loved it so much. People underestimated Dwyane and finally Marquette University asked him for a part Scholarship. He couldn’t play with them, travel with them or even wear a uniform. The next season he could play and he got a triple double. They won every game in the season and Dwyane got to cut off the net.
