Rosa Parks was born on February 4, 1913. When she was young she was home-schooled, but then she turned 11 she was sent to school for all girls. Rosa was in the bus boycott, and she was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white man, and she even had a $14 fine. Rosa was elected as president by the state. She married Raymond Parks in 1932. She won the spingarn medal in 1979. In fact, she has over 40 honorary awards. She died at 92 in 2005.
