Fotobabble:

What is it?: Fotobabble is an iPhone app that allows users to take a picture and talk about it, essentially creating a talking picture.

How can it be utilized?: Fotobabble could be used in the classroom for a research project. For example, it could be used for an assignment where students were to research an animal. They could use the app by finding a picture of the animal and than talking about the information they found on it.

Math Evolve:

What is it?: Math Evolve is a math app that allows users to to practice important math skills like multiplication, subtraction, division and subtraction.

How can it be utilized?: Math Evolve can be used in the classroom to help students who struggle with math. For example, a teacher could break students up into pairs and have them work together to practice math on the app.

Videolicious:

What is it?: Videolicious is an app that allows users to create videos of themselves or anything that they desire.

How can it be utilized?: Videolicious could be used in the classroom for presentations. Students who may not be as comfortable doing oral presentations could make a video of their presentation instead and present that video in class.

Talk To Me-Text to Speech:

What is it?: Talk To Me - Text to Speech is a text to speech app that speaks the words as they are typed.

How can it be utilized?: Talk To Me-Text to Speech could be used in the classroom to help students who are learning to read or to help those students who have difficulty reading. For example, this app could be used when students are given a reading assignment that they may have difficulty with.

inClass:

What is it?: inClass is a multi-sensory note taking app. This app allows the user to take notes using pictures, video, audio or text and allows him or her to share notes with his classmates.

How can it be utilized?: inClass could be used in the classroom to help students who struggle with taking notes.  This app would provide students with multiple ways to take notes in class which would allow them to focus more on the content since they would no longer be putting all of their effort into just trying to keep up.
