Progression

Industrial Revolution Hour 7 By: Grace Moore

Many people may say that that Industrial Revolution was a time of disaster and failure, but I see it as a period of progression for the United States. In the document, “Statistics on Industrial Growth”, it shows the increase of many aspects in American life. For example, the amount of high school graduates from 1870-1910 increased by 7% over the span of forty years. Also, gross domestic product increased by about seven hundred dollars over the same amount of given time. Therefore, these examples show how the industrial world was has grown because of the new inventions that have been given to us. If it weren't for all all of these new ideas, we would not have progressed as a nation like we have.
