How different news providers depict the "Germanwings co-pilot crash; did he do a practice run?"

We all have herd about the germanwings co-pilot and how he crashed a plane into the French Alps killing himself and as well as the 150 passengers aboard the Airbus A320. But now news reports are saying that he possibly practice the crash in a previous flight.

As with any type of "braking news" every news agency has reports on it. So I chose three commendable sources: NBC, the BBC and npr.

The article from NBC was written by Alastair Jamieson who is a British correspondence wrote on this topic for NBC. He joined NBCNews.com in 2011 after more than a decade working as a reporter and news editor for British newspapers including The Sunday Telegraph and Daily Telegraph in London and The Scotsman in Edinburgh. The article was added on May 6th 2015 fallowing the live tv debut. They did a good job on updating the current information with the flight as well as including most if not all prior information of the crash. These types of articles are there to grab the publics wondering eye so that they can get the most amount of views then the competing news providers; so they try and make all the stories universal for all people. This was created for the enlightenment of the people so they may know the latest information on that event and this happens the be the "big scoop" and everyone has to know every little detail. The main point of this article is that they have recently found new information that has been found about this tragic incident. I chose this over other news providers due to their known truth in their reports. "Andreas Lubitz repeatedly set the altitude dial on the Airbus A320 to 100 feet while alone in the cockpit en route from Dusseldorf to Barcelona on March 24, investigators at French safety agency BEA found. That flight landed normally in Spain."

Next on the BBC there was no defined author of the article so there is no known information on the author(s) . This as well was published on May 6th 2015, this as well means that there could be possibly some discrepancies that would later be found . The BBC article dose not have as much information prior to todays article but dose offer enough to get a good understanding of what happened. This was created for a universal audience such as the one form NBC, all news providers want to get views to get money.  This was created for the enlightenment of the people so they may know the latest information on that event and this happens the be the "big scoop" and everyone has to know every little detail. I chose the BBC due to their global news coverage. "Lubitz appears to have practised programming a rapid descent on the outbound leg of the flight - from Duesseldorf to Barcelona on 24 March - the preliminary report by accident investigation agency BEA said. It added that on several occasions - again with the captain out of the cockpit - the altitude dial was set to 100ft (30m), the lowest possible reading, despite instructions by air traffic control in Bordeaux to set it to 35,000ft and then 21,000ft."

Next on the npr there was no defined author of the article so there is no known information on the author(s) . This as well was published on May 6th 2015, this as well means that there could be possibly some discrepancies that would later be found. I found that this news article was very skimpy on any old information that was stated in the other two articles, in this it only tells about the new discoveries that were found recently. This was created for a universal audience such as the one form NBC and the BBC; all news providers want to get views to get money. This was created for the teaching of the people so they may know the latest information on that event and this happens the be the days breaking news because  everyone has to know every little detail. The main point of this article is that they have recently found new information that has been found about this tragic incident. I chose npr due to that it might be a very boring radio show it dose contain a large amount of factual information. "   The Germanwings co-pilot who crashed a passenger jet into the French Alps may have practiced the crash during an earlier flight. According to a preliminary report issued by French investigators, Andreas Lubitz set the altitude dial to 100 feet several times during an outbound flight from Duesseldorf, Germany, to Barcelona on March 24. Lubitz, the report finds, was alone in the cockpit when he made the changes to the dial. Investigators say Lubitz then deliberately crashed the aircraft on the way back from Barcelona to Duesseldorf that same day."

I believe that this is an important event and that all types of media distributors want to get the leading scoop so that they can get the most out of their money. But in regards to the actual event I think it is a waist of lives, why did he have to kill 149 people just because he wanted to die. Just because you want the new iPhone dose't mean that you steel the whole schools iPhones . I know that a human life and a phone are two very different things but you'll get the point of what I'm saying. I chose this topic due to how its a new event and it's still relevant today so it makes it easier to do research on it.
